Jéhu and Micheline Attias (Colombier Wines) - Uncovering Icons of the New World
On Friday the 9th of October the Grand Union Wine Society will have a tasting presented by Colombier Wines. Jéhu, Micheline, and Patrice have shown themselves to be a charming and knowledgable team with excellent taste and an extensive portfolio of wines.
The tasting will be titled ‘Uncovering Icons of the New World’, and will feature wines from southern Australia, the South Island of New Zealand, Mendoza in Argentina and the Uco Valley in Chile. These are all world-class wine producing regions, and we can expect to taste wines of zest and character, including some rather fine reds with a bit of age. This tasting will consist of 9 wines, and will include 2 sparkling examples.
I do hope to see you at this tasting. Please consider inviting your friends to come along too. Payment should be made in the normal way, as set out in the attached PDF. Please make your payments by Sunday October 4th.
I also ask you to make sure that you have also paid this year’s annual membership fee; this became due on September 1st. Thank you.
