<p>It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our close friend Merrill Hastie over the weekend.  May Merrill rest in peace, and may her family find comfort in knowing they are not alone.</p>

<p>Having experienced the superb wines of Chateau Musar at the society on a number of occasions, it&#8217;s with great sadness that the legendary winemaker Serge Hochar passed away recently.  The legend will live on. Decanter.com</p>
